Roll of Rollei Retro 400s arrived in the post today. Im trying it as a replacement for the now discontinued Fuji Neopan 400 (120). Its meant to be similar to the old AGFA Aviphot 400, which I didn’t really like when I used it years ago, but lets give this a chance.
Its spectral sensitivity goes in to the infra red range which is meant to help cut down haze and be very good for landscape. (data sheet here).
You can get hold of the Rollei films at FirstCall. I will be dev'ing it in RO9 (Rodinol Clone) which you can also get at FirstCall.
It also comes in a neat little light tight plastic tube. Before you say anything about excess packaging, I will be reusing the tube when I’m out with the camera and have exposed films to protect.
